The Government has issued Decree 175/2016/ND-CP (Decree 175) to amend and supplement some articles of Decree 86/2013/ND-CP, dated July 29, 2013 on business in prize-winning electronic games for foreigners.
Accordingly, Decree 175 amended and supplemented some regulations on electronic game equipment. Especially, electronic game machines must be brand new with technical parameters which were verified by G7-based independent organizations.
Payout rates of slot machines have to account for at least 90% and be installed already on the equipment.
Enterprises are allowed to maintain and repair depraved machines without intervening payout rate. They have to hire independent organizations to verify broken machines in case components affect payout rates./.
