The Government and the PM released 20 legal documents in September including 16 decrees and four decisions.
Accordingly, Decree No. 122/2016/ND-CP on the Export Tariff, the Preferential Import Tariff, the list of commodity items and their specific duties, combined duty rates and out-of-quota duty rates was issued on September 1.
Decree No. 123/2016/ND-CP defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structures of ministries and ministerial-level agencies was introduced on September 1.
Decree No. 124/2016/ND-CP on the Special Preferential Import Tariff for implementation of bilateral trade agreements between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic was released on September 1.
Decree 125/2016/ND-CP, dated September 1, 2016 stipulated preferential Import Tariff for Goods from Japan.
Decree 128/2016/ND-CP, dated September 1, 2016 regulated special preferential import tariff schedule ASEAN China Agreement 2016-2018.
Decision No. 36/2016/QD-TTg dated September 1, 2016 of the PM prescribed the normal tax rate for imported goods at Point c, Clause 3, Article 5 of the Law on export and import tax.
