Fresh special preferential import tariffs introduced

The Government has recently issued seven decrees on special import tariffs with a view to implementing seven agreements with other ASEAN and foreign countries.

The Government has recently issued seven decrees on special import tariffs with a view to implementing seven agreements with other ASEAN and foreign countries.

1. Decree 124/2016/ND-CP on special preferential tariffs targets to implement the Bilateral Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and Laos.

2. Decree 125/2016/ND-CP on special preferential tariffs targets to implement the Viet Nam- Japan Economic Partnership Agreement for the 2016-2019 period.

3. Decree 126/2016/ND-CP on special preferential tariffs aims to realize the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement in the 2016-2018 period;

4. Decree 127/2016/ND-CP on special preferential tariffs looks to enforce the Agreement establishing the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA) in the 2016-2018 period;

5. Decree 128/2016/ND-CP on special preferential tariffs eyes to conduct the ASEAN-China Trade in Goods Agreement in the 2016-2018 period.

6. Decree 129/2016/ND on  special preferential tariffs helps implement the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement in the 2016-2018 period.

7. Decree 130/2016/ND-CP on special preferential tariffs targets to put into practice the ASEAN-RoK Trade in Goods Agreement in the 2016-2018 period.

Those decrees took effect since September 1, 2016./.
