The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Science and Technology have jointly issued a Circular guiding the labelling of genetically modified food circuated in Viet Nam.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Science and Technology have jointly issued a Circular guiding the labelling of genetically modified food circuated in Viet Nam.
Specifically, the Circular requires that information relating to genetic modification be on labels for all packaged food containting more than 5% of genetically modified organisms per each food components.
The Circular is scheduled to take effect on January 8, 2016./.
