Official Letter No. 3353/LDTBXH-VL: Enterprises urged to regularly report on foreign employees

Minister of Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has signed Official Letter No 3353/LDTBXH-VL to enhance the management of foreign workers in Vietnam.

Accordingly, peoples committees of provinces and cities were ordered to cooperate with relevant agencies to guide and popularise the Vietnamese regulations relating directly to foreigners working in Vietnam pursuant to the prime ministers direction.

The authorities must enhance supervision over recruitment, labour license granting to foreigners, especially foreign contractors using foreign workers in localities.

As for foreign workers who do not meet labour requirements in Vietnam, they will be forced to leave or expelled out of Vietnam under current laws.
