Decree No. 88/2006/ND-CP: On business registration

The Decree, issued by the Government on August 29, specifies business registries; dossiers, order and procedures for business registration and for registration of changes in business registration contents.

The 8-chapter and 50-article Decree applies to domestic and foreign organizations and individuals making business registration under the Enterprise Law as well as other organizations and individuals involved in business registration.

Business registries, organized at provincial and district levels, shall directly receive, and examine the validity of, business registration dossiers, grant or refuse to grant business registration certificates to enterprises or business households.

Within 10 working days after receiving valid dossiers, provincial-level business registries shall grant business registration certificates to enterprises for carrying out their business activities, except conditional business activities.

This Decree shall supersede Decree No. 109/2004/ND-CP of April 2, 2004.
