Deputies to the current National Assembly (NA) session on June 23 heard reports on adjustments to some articles of the draft resolution on key national projects and the draft Law on Technical Standardisation before approving the two drafts.
Regarding the draft resolution on key national projects, most deputies agreed with the regulation on the investment capital levels of VND20 billion or more for projects using from 30 percent of the State budget or more and that the Government will consider projects using other capital sources.

Chairman of the NA Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Nguyen Van Yeu presented a report on explanations and adjustments to the draft Law on Technical Standardisation.
Most deputies agreed upon the content of the draft law, which was previously discussed on June 19.
After being revised for NA approval, the draft law now consists of 71 articles and seven chapters, stipulating regulations on construction activity, announcement and application of technical standardisation and evaluation in line with technical standardisation.
