Lively contests for workers toward the year end

In the final days of 2025, the atmosphere at industrial zones and enterprises across Dong Nai province has become bustling with a series of contests and cultural and sports activities for workers. These are also activities celebrating the Dong Nai province Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

On the evening of December 20, the grassroots trade union of Pou Sung Viet Nam Company Limited (An Vien commune, Dong Nai province) held the 18th “Pou Sung Beauty” contest in 2025 for company officials and employees aged 18 to 30.

The contest attracted 105 contestants. After the preliminary round, the organizing committee selected 30 outstanding participants for the final round, which featured a traditional performance of the ao dai.

Contestants entered the competition well-prepared, having made careful investments in both costumes and stage presentation skills. As a result, the organizing committee awarded two first prizes, four second prizes, and four third prizes, with the remaining prizes serving as consolation prizes.

On this occasion, the company’s grassroots trade union also held an award ceremony for 18 teams participating in the 2025 Christmas tree decoration contest. In addition, a lucky draw was organized, featuring thousands of valuable prizes, including electric motorbikes, televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines. This event is an annual year-end activity designed to foster a spirit of healthy competition among all employees.

The grassroots trade union of Jason Furniture Viet Nam Company Limited (Dong Xoai III Industrial Park, Binh Phuoc ward) organized the 3rd sports festival in 2025. The event attracted 47 teams and more than 200 athletes competing in traditional folk games, including tug of war, sack jumping, capture the flag, relay racing over obstacles, five-person six-leg relay, transferring limes into baskets, and a volleyball competition.

The festival took place in a lively atmosphere, contributing to improving the spiritual well-being of workers. During the event, workers also participated in a lucky draw with many attractive prizes.

The grassroots trade union of LIXIL Global Manufacturing Vietnam Company Limited (Long Thanh commune) organized a sports festival for workers, featuring badminton and football. The event attracted hundreds of male and female workers who actively participated and cheered with great enthusiasm. The teams will compete in preliminary rounds on the final weekends of the month, with the awards ceremony scheduled for December 27.

In addition, several grassroots trade unions at enterprises organized various contests, including workers’ singing, tug of war, volleyball, and mini football. These vibrant year-end activities not only help create a joyful and festive atmosphere but also boost workers’ morale as they head into the new year with enthusiasm and determination to successfully complete their assigned tasks.
