Workshop on finalizing the brand identity for four collective agricultural trademarks

On the afternoon of November 6, in Tan Quan commune, INVESTIP Industrial Property Joint Stock Company (Hanoi City) coordinated with Tan Quan commune People’s Committee to organize a workshop to gather opinions on finalizing management documents and brand identity systems for four collective trademarks: “An Khuong Rice,” “Tan Hiep Green-Skin Grapefruit,” “Tan Quan Melon,” and “Hon Quan Tangerine”.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, the provincial Farmers’ Association, local leaders, cooperatives, and exemplary farmers in the area.

The workshop aimed to collect feedback to improve regulations on the management, use, and development of collective trademarks, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of brand building, management, and development for local agricultural products.

This activity is part of the science and technology sector’s support program to help farmers apply scientific and technical advances, improve product value, and develop collective trademarks towards building sustainable agricultural brands for Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that collective and certification trademarks are key tools for protecting, affirming, and enhancing the value of local agricultural products. As the advisory body to the Provincial People’s Committee in the fields of science, technology, and intellectual property, the department has proactively worked with consulting units, cooperatives, and farmers’ organizations across the region to implement coordinated support activities, from trademark registration and brand identity design to traceability label printing and training in trademark management and use. Through these programs, many signature products have established their position in the market, delivering economic benefits to residents in the locality and contributing to the reputation of high-quality, trustworthy agricultural products.
