Long Khanh receives over 100 tons of relief supplies in 48 hours, directly sending them to flood-hit localities

Within just 48 hours of the call for support, residents of Long Khanh ward, Dong Nai province, contributed over 100 tons of goods and essential supplies, along with more than 320 million VND in cash. Following that, 12 volunteer vehicles set out to directly deliver the relief supplies to Dong Xuan commune, Dak Lak province.

On November 11, the trucks carrying relief supplies donated by residents of Long Khanh ward arrived in Dong Xuan commune, Dak Lak province, to assist people severely affected by the heavy rains and floods.

Earlier, on November 24, the People's Committee of Dong Xuan commune sent an official letter to the People's Committee of Long Khanh ward, requesting support to help residents in the locality stabilize their lives and resume production. Following the flood, the commune faced numerous difficulties, with many households severely inundated; property, food supplies, and essential goods were damaged.

Immediately after receiving the letter, the People's Committee of Long Khanh ward launched a call for donations and received strong support from locals. By the evening of November 26, just about 48 hours later, over 100 tons of goods and essential supplies had been collected, including nearly 40 tons of rice, 320 million VND in cash, and other necessities such as instant noodles, milk, bottled water, and medicine, all contributed by Long Khanh residents to support people in the flood-affected area.

At 11 am on November 27, a convoy of 12 zero-cost trucks transported the entire relief shipment, the heartfelt contribution of Long Khanh residents, directly to Dong Xuan commune, Dak Lak province, providing timely assistance to people in urgent need.
