Thien Hung and Bau Ham communes hold first VFF Congresses for the 2025-2030 tenure

On September 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Thien Hung Commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure. Attending and directing the Congress were Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary and Chairman of People’s Council of Thien Hung commune Dang Ha Giang; Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial VFF Committee Nguyen Tan Phu.

During the past tenure, the VFF Committee of Thien Hung commune promoted its role and responsibility, effectively implemented movements, and consolidated the great national unity bloc, creating consensus within the Party and among the people. The commune’s VFF conducted eight supervision programs; consolidated 24 mediation teams with 120 members; successfully mediated five grassroots disputes, achieving a 100% success rate; and supported the construction and repair of 65 houses worth over VND 4.84 billion.

The commune’s VFF also mobilized resources for new-style rural development, building 2,880m2 of cement-concrete roads; installing more than 5.5km of street lighting; and contributing over 430 working days to support house construction and repair for local households as well as road building.

In addition, the commune’s VFF mobilized over VND 445 million in donations for Northern provinces affected by Typhoon Yagi; and mobilized 3,674 gift packages, worth more than VND 1.837 billion, for policy beneficiaries, poor households, and near-poor households, helping to stabilize citizens’ livelihoods.

With the spirit of “Solidarity – Democracy – Responsibility – Innovation – Development,” the Congress adopted six action programs with 16 specific targets. Delegates elected 53 members to the VFF Committee of Thien Hung commune for the 2025-2030 tenure. Nguyen Sy Quoc was elected Chairman of Thien Hung commune’s VFF Committee, tenure 2025-2030.

*On the same day, the VFF Committee of Bau Ham commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure. Attending the Congress were Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial VFF Committee, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Minh Kien; leaders of Bau Ham commune; and 115 delegates representing people from all walks of life of the commune.

Bau Ham commune was established on the basis of merging four communes: Bau Ham, Song Thao, Cay Gao, and Thanh Binh (former Trang Bom district), comprising 15 hamlets with a population of more than 55,000.

In the past tenure, the VFF Committee of Bau Ham commune fulfilled its role as a political alliance and the people’s organization for unified action, focusing on guiding grassroots VFF bodies to strengthen communication, renew mobilization movements, and unite people of all walks of life to carry out social welfare activities.

With a high sense of responsibility, the Congress elected 52 members to the VFF Committee of Bau Ham commune for the 2025-2030 tenure, and elected the Standing Board, Chairman, and Vice Chairpersons of the commune’s VFF Committee. Tu Duc Binh was elected Chairman of Bau Ham commune VFF Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure. The Congress also elected two delegates to attend the first Congress of Dong Nai Provincial VFF Committee, tenure 2025-2030.
