Dong Nai hosts Festival of Exemplary Families of southern provinces and cities in 2026

On September 16, Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People's Committee, signed a document addressed to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Finance, approving in principle Dong Nai's hosting of the first Festival of Exemplary Families from Southern Provinces and Cities in 2026.

The first Festival of Exemplary Families from Southern Provinces and Cities is expected to take place in July 2026, with participation from nine provinces and cities: Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Can Tho, An Giang, Ca Mau, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The festival will feature a variety of activities, including cultural exchanges, commendation of exemplary cultural families, competitions, folk games, cultural and artistic performances, and exhibitions of photos and documents highlighting Vietnamese families and exemplary households.

Dong Nai provincial People's Committee assigned the DCST to take the lead, in coordination with the Representative Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City and relevant departments, sectors, units and localities for implementation.
