Executive Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term makes debut and assumes duties. The event received close attention and guidance from leaders of Military Zone 7 and Dong Nai Province, which helped shape many key solutions and tasks to effectively translate the Party’s resolutions into practice. The congress also reaffirmed the importance of continuing to provide strong advisory support to the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee regarding military and defense tasks in the new context. The congress heard the announcement of decisions from the provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretaries, Inspection Committee, Head and Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee comprises 21 members. Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and head of the Dong Nai provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies, was appointed Secretary of the provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. The Deputy Secretaries of the provincial Military Party Committee include Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command; Colonel Bui Dang Ninh, member of the provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, and Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command. Colonel Bui Van Sy, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, was appointed Chairman of the Inspection Committee for the 2025–2030 term. As outlined in the draft resolution for the 2025–2030 term, the Provincial Military Party Committee has set a unified vision and common goals that are to build a clean, strong Party organization and a comprehensively strong, exemplary, “typical military unit”; to accomplish all assigned tasks; and to effectively advise on strengthening the province’s military and defense potential; to build an all-people national defence, all-people national defense posture, integrated with the people’s security posture and a solid and well-organized defense zone capable of safeguarding the locality, borders, and the nation in the new context. Furthermore, the Party Committee emphasized the need for accurate assessments and forecasts of the situation, providing timely strategic advice to handle potential scenarios, avoiding passivity or unexpectedness, and maintaining political stability to create favorable conditions for socio-economic development. The committee also stressed consolidating national defense and security; effectively carrying out defense and border diplomacy; maintaining security and order; firmly safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity along the borders. The congress outlined several specific targets for the 2025–2030 term. These include having over 95% of agencies and units annually meeting the standards for comprehensively strong and exemplary units; achieving 100% of digital transformation goals under the approved plan; completing all targets for increased production; ensuring that 100% of Party organizations fulfill their duties, with at least 90% of members and organizations rated as performing well; and maintaining absolute political safety across all units. Three breakthrough areas were identified, including: improving the quality and effectiveness of advisory work in local military and border defense tasks, with a focus on ensuring solid grassroots-level readiness; enhancing organizational discipline, with an emphasis on absolute safety; and promoting the application of science and technology, particularly in innovation and digital transformation within the provincial armed forces. Immediately following the congress, senior leaders and agencies of Military Zone 7 conducted a session to draw lessons for future actions, enabling other provincial and municipal military Party committees to study and organize their own congresses successfully for the 2025–2030 term.
