On August 11, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Xuan Thanh Commune, 2025–2030 tenure, successfully concluded its working program. The Congress was attended by 146 official delegates representing all 585 Party members of the Commune Party Organization.
Attending the Congress were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Ha Anh Dung, Permanent Vice President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province; and Duong Minh Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Long Thanh Commune.

Xuan Thanh Commune was established on the basis of merging Suoi Cao Commune and Xuan Thanh Commune of the former Xuan Loc District. The commune covers a natural area of 122.71 km² and has a population of over 22,007 people.
During the 2020-2025 tenure, the local Party Committees and authorities focused on leadership, direction, and implementation, achieving many significant results in political, socio-economic, and national defense–security fields.
Specifically, the total social production value of Xuan Thanh in the 2020–2025 period reached over 13.2 trillion VND, of which agricultural production value accounted for over 7.1 trillion VND, representing 53.89% of the economic structure. The commune focused on agricultural development, gradually applying high technology, organic farming, and circular agriculture; building model, high-quality, and sustainable agricultural models.
The Party Committee of Xuan Thanh Commune in the first term from 2025 to 2030 identified the need to continue promoting the combined strength of the entire population; mobilizing, exploiting, and effectively using all resources for socio-economic development; maintaining and improving the quality of advanced and model new-style rural commune criteria; contributing to building a comprehensively developed commune with green agriculture and a civilized, cultured rural area.
Delivering his directive speech at the Congress, Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Party Committee of Xuan Thanh Commune. He expressed his hope that in the new tenure, the entire Commune Party Organization will continue to unite, leverage local advantages, and build a comprehensively developed commune.
In particular, the commune should continue focusing on developing agricultural production in association with the processing industry, establishing planting area codes, developing product brands, and building linkages for product consumption; gradually developing Xuan Thanh into a center for high-tech agriculture and deep processing, shifting from agricultural production to an agricultural economy; ensuring sustainable development in connection with reorganizing production-living-service spaces suited to local characteristics.
