Nam Cat Tien developed into a  green, modern, and sustainable commune

The first congress of the Nam Cat Tien Commune Party Committee, 2025-2030 tenure, officially opened on the morning of August 13. Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Commander of Dong Nai Military Command, attended and delivered the directive speech.

Also attending this significant political event were Provincial Party Committee members: Vice President of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Minh Kien; Deputy Head of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Le Thi Thai; Secretary of the Tan Phu Commune Party Committee Tran Quang Tu; along with representatives from provincial Party committees, the provincial People’s Committee, other communes, and 122 delegates representing 697 Party members across the commune.

During the 2020-2025 term, the entire political system and all social strata united, overcame difficulties, and acted proactively to successfully achieve the goal of building Nam Cat Tien into an advanced new-style rural commune.

With the goal of developing Nam Cat Tien in a green, modern, and sustainable manner, the congress adopted the guiding motto for the 2025-2030 term: “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development.”

The firm achievements gained from a robust shift in agriculture towards large-scale, commodity-oriented production, combined with the promotion of tourism and tourism services linked to agricultural economic models, form a strong foundation for the commune’s target to raise average per capita income to VND 109 million per year by 2030.

In his directive speech, Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Commander of Dong Nai Military Command, urged the Nam Cat Tien Commune Party Committee to assign tasks clearly, with specific responsibilities, clear personnel, and defined accountability, while emphasizing the exemplary role of leaders. He called for the prompt issuance of action plans and programs to implement the congress resolution, ensuring clear content, designated lead units, and deadlines for each task and solution. He also stressed the importance of enhancing inspection and supervision, viewing them as key measures to ensure the resolution is implemented in the right direction, effectively, and substantively.

Seriously absorbing the provincial leadership’s guidance, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Nam Cat Tien Commune People’s Council Vo Hoang Phuong affirmed that the resolution would be supplemented and completed, and promptly concretized after the congress with high determination and great effort to successfully achieve the set objectives and tasks. At the same time, he underscored that this is the political commitment of the commune’s Party Committee to the people, reflecting the will, responsibility, and aspiration to build the homeland into an increasingly prosperous, civilized, modern, and sustainable locality.
