Cam My commune holds first Party Congress for 2025–2030 term

On August 4 and 5, Cam My Communal Party Committee convened its first Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure.

The event gathered 129 delegates representing 1,211 Party members from 21 affiliated grassroots Party organizations.

Cam My Commune was established following the merger of four communes and townlets namely Long Giao, Nhan Nghia, Bao Binh, and Xuan My. During the 2020–2025 term, efforts are strengthened to build a clean and strong political system, closely aligned with promoting the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Notably, over 90% of grassroots Party organizations and Party members were rated as successfully fulfilling their duties each year, meeting the targets set by the Party’s resolution. All 16 hamlets and residential areas adopted the dual-role model where the Party cell secretaries concurrently serve as either hamlet heads or heads of the local mass mobilization boards, surpassing the target set by the province. Inspection and supervision work was conducted with clear focus and in accordance with regulations.

The commune achieved an average annual production value growth rate of 13.13%. Per capita income reached VND 97 million per year. The commune also recorded significant progress in advanced new-style rural development and model new-style rural areas. Meanwhile, administrative reforms, digital governance, and e-government initiatives were implemented comprehensively.

In his guidance remarks at the congress, Tran Trung Nhan urged the newly elected Party Executive Committee of Cam My Commune to focus on key priorities. These include strengthening unity and consensus within the entire Party Committee; providing comprehensive leadership and direction across all socio-economic sectors; safeguarding national defense and public security; and building a robust political system that can effectively meet the legitimate needs and aspirations of the local people. He also emphasized the importance of contributing constructive feedback to the draft documents of the upcoming 14th National Party Congress and the 2025–2030 Provincial Party Congress of Dong Nai.

.On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Tran Trung Nhan presented a ceremonial banner to the congress with the theme: “Solidarity – Responsibility – Discipline – Breakthrough – Building Cam My into a commune with rapid and sustainable development.
