Binh Loc maximizes potential and advantages for sustainable economic development

On the afternoon of August 14, the official session of the 1st Party Congress of Binh Loc Ward, 2025–2030 tenure, took place with the participation of 200 official delegates representing more than 1,000 Party members across the ward’s Party Committee. Dang Minh Nguyet, Member of the provincial Standing Party Committee, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the Long Khanh Ward People’s Council, attended and delivered guidance at the congress.

Also attending were Le Thi Ngoc Loan, Member of the provincial Party Committee and Director of Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with representatives of provincial departments, agencies, and localities.

Binh Loc Ward was established by merging the entire natural area and population of Suoi Tre Ward, Binh Loc Commune of former Long Khanh City, and Xuan Thien Commune of former Thong Nhat District. The ward covers more than 77.2 square kilometers with a population of over 36,000.

During the 2020–2025 term, economic, cultural–social development, social welfare, and the livelihood of residents and workers have been given synchronized and flexible attention. National defense and security have been ensured, while social order and safety remained stable. Party building work, Party organizational development, and membership growth, as well as inspection and supervision work, have been carried out strictly and in line with principles. Currently, the ward has two industrial zones attracting 58 investors, creating stable jobs for about 25,400 workers; 10 garden eco-tourism sites with visitor numbers growing 5–10% annually; all 12 schools meeting national infrastructure standards; and cultural family and neighborhood movements achieving a rate of over 99%.

With the motto: “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Creativity – Efficiency,” the congress identified orientations, objectives, tasks, and suitable solutions for the 2025–2030 tenure, setting 23 targets. Among these, the focus is on effectively implementing six key tasks and three breakthrough areas to achieve the goal of building Binh Loc Ward into a comprehensively developed, sustainable locality; continuously improving the living standards of residents in all aspects; maintaining firm national defense and security; and ensuring a clean, strong, effective, and efficient political system.

In her directive speech, Member of the provincial Standing Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of Long Khanh Ward People’s Council Dang Minh Nguyet recognized and commended the achievements made by the Binh Loc Ward Party Committee over the past term. She also requested the new-term Party Committee to build on its strengths, overcome shortcomings, and promptly develop an action plan to implement the congress’s resolutions.

The ward’s Party Committee must swiftly stabilize its organization, strengthen great solidarity, and unify will and action throughout the Party Committee. It should push for substantial and effective administrative reform and improve the investment environment. All resources should be mobilized for socio-economic development, national defense, and security, while enhancing people’s living standards. It must also continue implementing national target programs as directed by the central government for 2025–2030, and fully exploit the locality’s potential and advantages for sustainable economic growth.

Member of the provincial Standing Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Long Khanh Ward People’s Council Dang Minh Nguyet stressed that after the congress, the Party Committee must promptly concretize and assign responsibilities in the spirit of “clear tasks, clear people, clear completion timelines, and clear demand for quality and work efficiency,” and resolutely lead, direct, and effectively organize the implementation of the congress’s resolutions, with regular inspection, supervision, and evaluation of results.
