In the field of preventive medicine, epidemiological surveillance is carried out on a regular, continuous basis; the early warning system is consolidated and strengthened, helping promptly detect, contain, and effectively address disease risks. Expanded immunization programs, infectious disease prevention, and management of non-communicable diseases have been maintained steadily, helping keep the disease situation in the area well under control. Communication and health education effortthroughntinue to be stetailored toiverse forms suited to each target group, thereby raiofng public awareness of diseaeducationntion, the importance of physical exercise, and building a healthy lifestyle.
A leader of the Department of Health emphasized that the current disease model is undergoing many changes. Non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes and cancer are becoming increasingly common and are affecting younger people. Environmental risk factors, pressures of life, and unhealthy lifestyles are having an increasingly clear impact on community health. This reality requires the health sector to make a strong shift from "treating diseases" to "proactively caring for health", from treatment to prevention, and from a single approach to comprehensive, continuous and personalized health management.
In the coming time, the Dong Nai health sector will continue to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; consolidate and develop grassroots healthcare; strengthen the management of non-communicable diseases in the community; enhance the capacity of the preventive health system; promote digital transformation and develop healthcare human resources to meet the requirements of the new situation.
At the rally, delegates also heard presentations from hospitals, regional medical centers, and typical health stations.
Following the rally, a convoy of vehicles carrying slogans promoting proactive health care paraded through the central streets of Dong Nai province.
