Dr. Dang Ha Huu Phuoc, Specialist Level II, Deputy Director of Dong Nai General Hospital, stated: Emulation and commendation are key drivers in encouraging officials, public employees, and workers to promote responsibility, creativity, and improve work efficiency. At Dong Nai General Hospital, emulation efforts are always tied to professional duties, particularly in enhancing medical examination and treatment procedures and advancing specialized healthcare to meet the growing demands of the public.

The hospital has implemented an automatic numbering system, a mobile app-based registration system for medical examinations, prescription classification and payment, and an automated prescription dispensing station, which helps reduce announcement noise and shorten patient waiting times. It has also adopted non-cash payment for hospital fees, ensuring accuracy and transparency in fee collection.

In particular, inter-departmental treatment processes have been optimized to treat stroke cases, interventional cardiology, nutrition education, and physical therapy for patients before, during, and after surgery. The Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program has been implemented, enhancing patient care processes and reducing treatment times. These activities have been recognized for their effectiveness with international accreditation certificates, commendations, and certificates of merit from the Government, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Dong Nai Department of Health.

The hospital has also implemented electronic medical records, aiming toward a smart, paperless hospital model.
