Nearly 400 workers participate in humanitarian blood donation

The grassroots Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park) has recently coordinated with the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization and the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a voluntary blood donation program.

The drive attracted nearly 400 workers. As a result, more than 390 units of blood were collected, contributing significantly to the healthcare sector in emergency and patient treatment during the current period of blood shortage.

Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the company's Trade Union, said: “ When learning about the "red alert" blood shortage, the grassroots Trade Union decided to coordinate in organizing a voluntary blood donation program and called on workers to join hands in sharing love with patients. This is the second blood donation drive this year to replenish the blood bank, promptly saving patients who urgently need blood transfusions.
