On the afternoon of August 7, a working delegation from the Department of Health led by its Director Do Thi Nguyen paid a working visit to the Nhon Trach Regional Medical Center.

At the working session, representatives of communal health stations under the center reported difficulties in health insurance-based medical examination and treatment activities at the stations due to the lack of separate seals; and the shortage of human resources, medicine, and equipment.
Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen and leaders of the department's specialized divisions discussed and gave specific answers to each issue in accordance with their functions, helping resolve many difficulties for the grassroots healthcare system.

Delivering her concluding remarks at the working session, Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen praised and acknowledged the achievements of the center in the first 6 months of 2025. At the same time, she requested the center to continue promoting the achieved results and focus on implementing some key tasks in the coming period, such as improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, promoting the application of information technology, and completing the deployment of electronic medical records in September 2025.
The leader of the Department of Health requested the center to develop a flexible model of public health care towards family doctor approach; improve processes, increase professional inspections, and enhance patient’s satisfaction. At the same time, the center is required to prioritize strengthening grassroots healthcare; support human resources and equipment for communal health stations; build a long-term human resource training strategy, increase financial autonomy to improve income and retain staff; strengthen the management of non-communicable diseases at health stations, transfer medicines to the communal level to expand revenue sources, combine effective communication and good coordination with local authorities; building the image of dedicated, responsible, and people-oriented medical staff.
