Dong Nai has two more eye hospitals

(ĐN) - On May 15, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Van Binh said that the province has just had 2 specialized eye hospitals.

Among them, Saigon - Dong Nai Eye Hospital, located in Long Khanh city, has started operations. Saigon - Bien Hoa Eye Hospital, located in Bien Hoa city, has been appraised by the Ministry of Health and is expected to start operations after meeting the requirements from the Ministry of Health.

So far, 10 private hospitals have been operating in the province (9 hospitals located in Bien Hoa city, 1 hospital in Long Khanh city), along with 87 private general clinics, and over 1.8 thousand specialized clinics and private medical service facilities.

The strong development of the private healthcare system not only "shares the burden" with public healthcare facilities but also creates competition to improve the quality of service, examination, and treatment. Therefore, people in the province have more opportunities to choose high-quality examination and treatment facilities.
