(ĐN)- On May 22, Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to donate a fundus camera to Dong Nai General Hospital, valued at 630 million VND. This medical device helps the hospital effectively diagnose and early detect eye complications in people with diabetic retinopathy using digital technology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kim Si Jung, General Director of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that from 2001 until now, the company has cooperated with Dong Nai General Hospital to organize a free cataract surgery program for employees and their relatives. Accordingly, 514 people have received free cataract surgery.
This is a meaningful activity, creating conditions for employees to examine and treat diseases, and feel secure in their work and production. The company will implement this program annually to bring light to employees and their relatives.
In addition, the company continues to cooperate with Dong Nai General Hospital, hospitals in Korea, and RetiMark Korea to implement the iDMas diabetic retinopathy screening program for 500 people (250 patients are company employees and 250 patients are local residents).
Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. currently has more than 42,000 employees. Through annual periodic health check-ups, the company has detected more than 1,000 employees suffering from diabetes, which if left untreated for a long time, will lead to diabetic retinopathy.
