(ĐN)- Dong Nai reported 841 cases of foot-hand-mouth disease (HFMD) in August, a monthly decrease of 40 percent, according to the provincial Health Department.
The number of children suffering from the illness in the province has seen a decrease in 10 out of 11 localities in the province, with the highest decrease reported in Bien Hoa and some districts of Nhon Trach, Trang Bom and Vinh cuu.
So far this year, the province has recorded over 4,900 cases of the disease, a year-on-year increase of 71 percent, with no deaths.
