(ĐN) – As many as 69 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Dong Nai on August 12, the highest figure over the past months. Bien Hoa city has the highest infection rate, with 30 cases.
A further three COVID-19 related deaths were also announced as of the beginning of July this year.
Vaccination is one of the most effective measures to fight against the disease, Deputy Director Nguyen Huu Tai of DoH affirmed.
The province is now launching vaccination campaigns to complete inoculation for children aged 5 - 11 in August, finish the administration of the third and fourth doses to people aged 18 and above as soon as possible, and accelerate the third shots for those aged 12 - 17.
