(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Health announced 666 new COVID-19 infections in the province on November 17. Among the new cases, 239 cases were detected in the community.
Bien Hoa city recorded the highest number of daily infections with 356, followed by Nhon Trach district with 66, and Long Thanh district with 52.
There were also a further 12 COVID-19 related deaths announced on the day. The death toll in Dong Nai is now 629.
A further 559 patients were given the all-clear on November 16, taking the total number of recoveries to more than 66,100.
Currently, 39 COVID-19 patients are in a serious condition, according to the Department of Health.
