Dong Nai begins inoculating children against COVID-19

(ĐN)- Dong Nai on November 7 began vaccinating children, aged from 15 to 17, against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, in an effort to soon reach herd immunity and reopen schools.

 

(ĐN)- Dong Nai on November 7 began vaccinating children, aged from 15 to 17, against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, in an effort to soon reach herd immunity and reopen schools.

Under a plan issued by Dong Nai Department of Health, the province will inoculate over 97,000 children from 15 to 17 years old in November 7-9. Dong Nai has some 295,738 children aged 12-17.

As of 5pm on November 7, vaccination for children aged 15 to under 18 was basically safe.  A few children with mild symptoms were monitored, treated promptly and went home.

On November 7, 58,200 people in Dong Nai had been vaccinated. The number of people who received two shots accounted for 76.3 percent.
