(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded an additional 747 COVID-19 infections, including 16 cases in the community, in the past 24 hours to 7 am on October 1.
Bien Hoa city reported the highest number of infections with 455 cases, followed by Nhon Trach district (169), Trang Bom (62), Vinh Cuu (30) and Cam My (12).
The province has to date logged 49,347 COVID-19 cases.
A total of 529 patients were given the all-clear on Oct 1, raising the number of recoveries to 26,807.
6 deaths related to the pandemic were announced on the day, raising the tally to 453.
