(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Health today, October 8, reported 614 new Covid-19 cases, including 1 case in the community, 125 in locked-down areas and 488 in quarantine sites.
Bien Hoa city recorded more than half of the new local infections, at 324 cases, followed by Nhon Trach district with 165 cases and Trang Bom with 59 cases.
The latest Covid cases have raised the province’s tally to 53,759.
Of the total cases in the current wave, 38,635 patients have recovered from Covid-19, including 801 patients discharged from hospitals today.
The Department also confirmed two more Covid-19 deaths, taking the total to 492.
