The aforesaid localities are: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Tien Giang, Bai Ria-Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Tra Vinh, Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Ha Noi, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Soc Trang, Binh Phuoc, Ben Tre, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Dong Nai and Phu Yen.
These localities were required to launch mobile medical stations, which aims to monitor and provide treatment to COVID-19 patients quarantined at home, conduct quick test and administer vaccine shots to local residents.
They were asked for speeding up vaccination, particularly for frontline forces, the elderly, people with chronic diseases, pregnant women.
As of late September 8, Viet Nam confirmed 563,676 COVID-19 infection cases, according to the Ministry of Health. Of the figure, 559,346 are locally-transmitted cases documented since April 27 when the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence began in Viet Nam.
The number of recoveries and fatalities were 325,647 and 14,135, respectively.
Viet Nam has administered 23,577,917 vaccine doses, with 3,768,683 fully vaccinated people./.
