(ĐN)- Dong Nai reported 781 new COVID-19 infections, including 3 cases in community, in the past 24 hours to 7am on September 1, the provincial Centre for Disease Control announced.
Nhon Trach district reported the highest number of infections during the day at 425. It was followed by Vinh Cuu with 201, Trang Bom 92, Long Thanh 30, Bien Hoa city 14, Long Khanh 8, Thong Nhat 6, Xuan Loc 4 and Dinh Quan 1.
The new infections brought the province's total number of infections to 24,620.
The number of deaths related to the pandemic is kept at 210 while that of recoveries is recorded at more than 10,500.
So far, the province provided relief aid for 59,866 freelancers with a total amount of VND89.8 billion.
