(ĐN)- Dong Nai logged 566 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to 7am on September 16, including one in the community, down 27.4 percent against the previous day, according to the provincial Department of Health.
Accordingly, Nhon Trach district documented 252 infections, followed by Bien Hoa city with 171, Trang Bom 65, Vinh Cuu 61, and Thong Nhat 10.
The new cases brought the provincial tally since COVID-19 broke out in Dong Nai to 37,802 cases.
As many as 17,500 people have recovered from COVID-19. The number of deaths related to the pandemic is kept at 341
A total of over 1.7 million people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dong Nai, accounting for 74.9 percent of the province’s population aged over 18.
