(ĐN)- Dong Nai reported 822 COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours to 7am on September 2, bringing the province's total number of infections to 25,422, the provincial Centre for Disease Control announced.
Bien Hoa city recorded the highest number of infections during the day at 381. It was followed by Nhon Trach district with 372, Vinh Cuu 26, Trang Bom 26, Dinh Quan 7, Long Thanh 1, Xuan Loc 1.
The province recorded 3 deaths, raising the total death toll from COVID-19 to 213.
A total of 786,723 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dong Nai so far, with 61,978 people getting full two shots. That is equivalent to 34.1 percent of the province’s population aged over 18.
