(ĐN)- The total number of COVID-19 cases in Dong Nai reached 30,578 as 968 new infections were reported on September 7.
Bien Hoa city led the province in the number of new cases with 644, followed by Vinh Cuu district (260), Trang Bom (28), Nhon Trach (14), Thong Nhat (11), Long Thanh (5) and Xuan Loc (4).
Out of new cases, 5 were reported as community infections, the rest were in locked down zones and quarantine areas.
Reports from Dong Nai Centre for Disease Control on Sept 7 also said 61 deaths have been recorded, raising the province’s total number of fatalities to 285.
So far, a total of 1,082,162 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dong Nai, with over 61,100 people getting full two shots.
