(ĐN)- Dong Nai reported 660 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to 7am on August 31, bringing the province's total number of infections to 23,839, according to the provincial Centre for Disease Control.
Of these, one is community infection and the rest were recorded in quarantine sites and locked down areas.
New infections were recorded in Vinh Cuu district (200), Bien Hoa city (200), Nhon Trach (189), Trang Bom (50), Long Thanh (10), Cam My (4), Dinh Quan (1), Xuan Loc (1).
So far, a total of 765,315 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dong Nai, accounting for 33.9 percent of the province’s population ages 18 and above.
