(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Centre for Disease Control, Dong Nai recorded 944 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to 7am on August 27, up 12.9 percent in cases from previous day.
Since the fourth pandemic wave hit the province, Dong Nai has counted 21,571 cases, of which more than 9,000 recovered.
There were 11 deaths recorded on the same day, pushing the total death toll to 161.
A total of 578,656 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dong Nai so far, accounting for 25.7 percent of the province’s population ages 18 and above.
