Decrease in cases of dengue fever was reported in all localities in the province, especially in Bien Hoa city and Nhon Trach district. The province has so far this year recorded 1,178 cases of dengue fever, decreasing 70 percent against the same period in 2020.
There was also a sharp decrease in cases of hand-foot-mouth and measles. The decline is attributed to that the awareness on disease prevention has been raised among local people, since Covid-19 pandemic appeared.
