(ĐN)- A meeting was held by Dong Nai Department of Health last week to review the activities of the USAID's Disabilities Rights Enforcement, Coordination and Therapies (DIRECT) project in 2020 and work out for plans in 2021.
According to Dong Nai Department of Health, the province is currently home to about 8,800 AO/dioxin victims and some 154,000 to 162,000 people with disabilities.
To improve the health conditions for people with disabilities, the local health sector in 2020 carried out programs to provide direct care, improve rehabilitation services, and develop social services to better serve people with disabilities.
