(ĐN)- On September 25, Dong Nai Hoan My International Hospital in cooperation with the provincial Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre co-held a voluntary blood donation festive day.
The annual event attracted the participation of more than 500 volunteers who are working and living in Bien Hoa city.
Since the beginning of this year, fears of COVID-19 infection have discouraged people from participating in blood drives. Accordingly, many hospitals are now facing blood shortages due to falling numbers of blood donors and blood donation events.
Currently, blood donation events are being launched to encourage the community to participate in voluntary blood donation to ease the blood shortage
