(ĐN)- Dong Nai has seen an increasing trend in hand-foot-mouth disease since the beginning of August. Accordingly, the province has recorded some 600 new cases per week, 330 cases higher than that of previous week.
In September, over 2,000 infections were reported in the locality. The health sector worked closely with education offices and schools to spread the word about disease prevention and control, inspected hygiene at nurseries and kindergartens.
Schools have been instructed to provide soap in bathrooms and ensure students wash their hands.
