Particularly, the number of dengue fever cases dropped from over 800 cases per week to over 500 cases.
To achieve this result, the health sector has made efforts to prevent the spread of dengue fever, raising public awareness on keeping their home free from mosquito and spraying mosquito repellent in high-risk area, while arranging communication campaigns to increase awareness among local people on how to prevent dengue fever
However, the health sector warned that the dengue fever outbreak will continue developing complicatedly with high risk in many localities.
More than 15,600 cases of dengue fever have been reported in the province since early this year, 2.5 times higher than those in the same period last year.
