(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded 756 dengue fever cases during September 13-19, an increase of 294 compared to the previous week, bringing the total cases of dengue fever from the beginning of the year to more than 14,500.
The localities with the highest number of cases are Nhon Trach, Long Thanh districts and Bien Hoa city.
As the province is now in peak season for dengue fever, localities are continuing to take preventive measures like cleaning up the environment and killing mosquito larvae.
Recently, local hospitals have seen an increase in the number of patients with severe shock caused by dengue fever. Therefore, the hospitals have been required to provide good treatment for patients, aiming to minimize death cases from dengue fever.
