In this period, the department spent more than VND10 billion to prevent dengue fever.
Authorities also asked the local health sector and relevant agencies to work to prevent the spread of dengue fever in the locality.
Accordingly, the department began a campaign to spray chemicals and launched communication campaigns to raise public awareness of dengue fever prevention.
