(ĐN)- On June 17, Cam My district Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with HCM city-based Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a voluntary blood donation program.
Hundreds of volunteers who are state employees and local residents registered to take part in this socially meaningful event. Accordingly, 79 blood units were collected and provided to hospitals.
Cam My district targets to collect some 1,300 blood units in 2019. So far, the locality received more than 900 blood units.
