(ĐN) - In 2018, Dong Nai’s Health Care Fund for the Poor spent more than VND6.7 billion to help poor patients.
Particularly, the fund spent over VND1.6 billion to provide free meals to more than 4,600 patients, helped cancer patients, those receiving dialysis treatment regularly and heart patients to pay their hospital fees totaling VND5.1 billion.
The assistance helped many patients to improve their health conditions and prevent the increase of diseases.
Currently, the fund raised more than VND9.6 billion.
