(ĐN)- About 985 cases of measles have been reported in Dong Nai as of December 19, according to the provincial Preventive Medicines Centre.
The measles cases were found across the province. Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city are the two leading localities with the highest cases.
In recent time, Dong Nai health sector strengthened measures against measles, particularly vaccinations for children between 9 and 24 months old, who have not been fully vaccinated against the disease.
The sector is continuing efforts to prevent a possible outbreak of the disease.
