(ĐN)- Vinh Cuu district’s Steering Board for Voluntary Blood Donations on September 20 cooperated with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a voluntary blood donation program in Thanh Phu commune.
Hundreds of volunteers who are local young people, residents, workers and state employees took part in this meaningful event. Accordingly, 104 blood units were donated to help needy patients.
Since the beginning of this year, the board organized 6 blood donation programs and collected more than 900 blood units.
