(ĐN)- On September 22, Dong Nai Military Headquarters in cooperation with the provincial Police, Red Cross Association, Phong Thai Group and a delegation of doctors and nurses from Thong Nhat General Hospital provided free medical check-ups and medicines to needy people in Thong Nhat district.
Particularly, 550 policy beneficiaries, difficult households, elderly people and ethnic minority people get free healthcare and gifts totaling VND135 million, funded by Phong Thai Group.
At the same day, Dong Red Cross Association cooperated with its agency in Thong Nhat district to award scholarships each worth VND6 million to two disadvantaged students at Nguyen Viet Xuan primary school.
