(ĐN)- On August 22, Cam My district Red Cross Chapter and Health Center in cooperation with doctors from HCM city Eye Hospital provided free eye check-ups and surgeries to 111 poor elderly people living in the locality.
Total cost of the program estimated at over VND200 million, funded by Ms Truong Thi My Hoa, an overseas Vietnamese living in Germany.
This is an annual event, aiming to help local poor patients to access to health care.
