(ĐN)- Doctors of Thong Nhat General Hospital have saved a 85-year-old patient, living in Trang Bom district, who had severe multiple traumas in a four-hour surgery.
Earlier, on July 2, Vu Thi Hoi was sent to the hospital in critical condition with multiple traumatic injuries by a traffic accident, which could threaten to her life.
Hoi was hit by a truck, resulting in severe traumas to her left arm, left leg and part of right leg.
Doctors, therefore, decided to give her an emergency operation.
The patient’s health condition is currently improved.
